Drawing and Parents Sensitization Program
There was a drawing & parent's sensitization program which was held in SMBBM building hall from 31st May to 2nd June 2016. It was a three days program, first day lots of children participated in drawing program including home visit children, children enjoyed very well, they looked happy and satisfied, at that program parents and school members also participated.
The next day on June 1, 2016, parent's sensitization program was inaugurated, it was a two full day's program, and only 40 parents were invited at that program. In that program, the following matters were presented & discussed:
- Introduction about the organization, what is the role of parents to develop the organization as well as take care on their own home after school? How can we lead in society towards the benefit of our children as well as to get the resources from the Village Development Committee (VDC)?
- Reason for Intellectual disability, prevention & care.
- A class about cerebral palsy
- Discussion
Day third
- Role of NFDN (National Federation of Disabled Nepal} structure, functions etc.
- Rule & bylaws about the disability in Nepal.National & international practices
- Role of local governmental authorities.
- Discussion
Day 4
We launched the same program at Tamnagar Village (10 KM ahead from Butwal) covering villagers, and that was only one day program.

- Senior Officer from Butwal Municipality (Social Department)
- Senior Doctor from Butwal hospital
We feel that this program was very fruitful and hope that, in future parents can come ahead for the strengthening of the organization.
